Here a fly away photo, how did I make it?

Photo of a dandelion parachute in flight by Ian Crowson Photography
Parachutes away!
First find some dandelion heads...........
I captured this with a Nikon D800 DSLR with my Nikon 105mm f2.8 macro lens. The flash which was needed to freeze the movement was a Nikon Speedlight mounted on the camera. A clamp to hold the stem and a black background are needed. Plus a trusty assistant with a hair dryer!
Get a few heads as you would be lucky to get the shot you like first go.
Captured in RAW, processed in Adobe RAW and Photoshop CC. F16 1/60th sec shutter and ISO400. Auto white balance with any slight adjustment made in post processing.
Here is more about dandelions.
